Dr. Gerety developed an interest in Breast Imaging in 1995 and completed many additional hours of continuing education in this specialty. Her experience with percutaneous image guided biopsy during her Emory imaging fellowship made a natural transition into percutaneous image guided breast biopsy. She was one of two radiologists staffing a large and busy full service breast center in Tulsa, Oklahoma for five years, and has been the director of the Women’s Imaging Center at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Athens for the past five years.
